YouTube

I have recently fallen in love with these two amazing (no pun intended) YouTubers, Danisnotonfire, and AmazingPhil. They are two British guys who make funny videos and have a joint gaming channel. Now, before I was introduced to these two awesome channels, I watched almost no YouTube. I didn't think it was interesting. There was the rare occasion when I would watch a how-to video on something, and that was the extent of my YouTube knowledge. Now, I see just how much I missed. My parents are strict about internet privacy, so I can't make a channel of my own (sadness), but I would really love to. Dan and Phil have truly ruined me. So, what do you guys think? YouTube,  good only for boring cat videos and Dan and Phil? Or the geek's paradise? Comment your thoughts!

I have decided to do a Question of the Post portion, so here is the first one:
QotP: If you could eat any flavor of ice cream, and be guaranteed you would like it, what would it be?
AotP: I would want to try something really wacky, like paper or something. (I have an odd mind!) Tell me your answer below!

Cats

I love cats. My cat in particular, but really all cats. I think that cats are really cool creatures. They aren't afraid to be themselves, (no matter what) they have incredible confidence, and they aren't afraid to bop you if they don't want you doing something. Overall, I think that we should all aspire to be cats.

Rain

Okay, so it's raining where I live. Fairly hard, actually. I've always loved rain. I hate getting wet, but I love rain. I'm a little like a cat in that regard, actually (as well as many others). Rain has always struck me as the kind of thing that makes it the perfect day to curl up with a good book and your cat, and stare out the window and read. Rain just makes days cozy. Okay, that's all.

Birthdays

Birthdays are weird things. I mean, I understand that they came from when humans were nomadic and they survived a year longer without falling off a cliff or getting eaten by a saber tooth tiger (okay, maybe not, but you get my point), but nowadays people throw these gigantic birthday parties for 7- or 8-year-olds, who will barely remember it! And, to top it all, once people get to their middle age, they start wanting to deny their age! Overall, birthdays are just flat out odd.

Memorizing

So lately, I have had to do a lot of memorization. It's been a little annoying. I'm still not very good at it. It's good practice, I suppose. It's pretty hard to work on memorization when you are working alone. I will have to ask one of my friends for a little help.

Blogging (Part 1)

Okay, this is a musing about blogging. There will probably be a follow-up one to this is I ever remember.

So, blogging is odd. You hear people talk about it, and you always think of teenage girls sitting on their beds yammering about the latest Twilight movie (at least I do). But after a little more investigation, I've realized that people blog about everything and anything! Star Trek, Doctor Who, cats, books, anything! I think that it's pretty cool how willing they are to throw their interests out there for ridicule and scrutiny. People are funny like that. I think I'm going to like this whole blogging thing!

What's all this? It's me!

Hi everyone. I'm a new blogger, so yeah. These are just a bunch of odd musings of mine. Like a diary, but not. They will probably just be about odds and ends. Thanks for reading!
